In the Beginning…
When Mariner Sands Country Club (MSCC) was being developed in the early 1980s, a group of members joined together to form a congregation. They gathered for worship and fellowship in the Clubhouse and even around the pool.
They began to serve in Stuart and Mariner County ‑ helping start or expand, by volunteer work and/or financially giving, organizations such as Martin Memorial Medical System hospitals, House of Hope, Treasure Coast Hospice, Samaritan Center for Boys, Hibiscus, etc. This congregation began planning and raising money for a Chapel ‑ which was built in 1983 from individual donations.
Over these 30 years, the congregation has been led by superb Pastors: Dr. Bern Burnstein, Dr. Jack McCombe, Dr. Bob Bedingfield, and Dr. Bill Weimer.
With Jesus Christ as Head of this congregation in His Church, Christians have come and gone, but the work of the Lord continues because of the commitment, generosity, and hard work by all members. We ask for God s guidance and blessing for our next 30 years!
